Details: This elegant locket is crafted in 14 karat gold-filled metal, with a beautifully embossed swallow motif on the front and delicate engraving around the edges. The swallow symbolizes hope, renewal, and safe journey — a romantic and meaningful motif often found in Victorian jewelry. Embedded in the front are a few small accent stones (pearls). 
The interior opens to reveal two photo compartments (one on each side), each able to hold a small portrait or memento. The interior shows a hallmark (please verify exact marking) which attests to the quality of gold-filled construction. The hinge and clasp function smoothly, and the piece is in good vintage condition, with expected patina and light surface wear consistent with its age.
The locket is suspended on a matching 14 K gold-filled chain.
Condition: Good antique condition. The hinge operates well, there is minor surface wear and gentle marks consistent with age. The gold fill shows no obvious thinning at edges, and the stones appear intact.
