Vintage Sterling Turquoise & Abalone Reversible TVR69
A wonderfully unusual vintage statement ring featuring two naturalistic faces in one sculptural design. One side showcases a vivid turquoise cabochon with subtle natural matrix, while the reverse reveals luminous abalone with shifting blue, green and iridescent tones.
The stone/inlay is mounted within an intriguing open sterling-silver framework, allowing the centerpiece to flip from one side to the other. The dimensional construction, elongated marquise/oval silhouette and architectural silverwork give this piece a distinctly Southwestern and mid-century-to-late-20th-century jewelry aesthetic.
The ring is stamped “STERLING,” indicating sterling silver construction.
