Signed Vintage Navajo Sterling + Onyx Ring TVR04
Exceptional handcrafted Southwestern ring featuring a dramatic elongated black onyx cabochon surrounded by elaborate handworked sterling silver feather/leaf appliqué, twisted wire, scrollwork and silver bead accents.
The reverse is stamped STERLING and bears a distinctive “H” artist's hallmark. The hallmark is consistent with marks attributed to Navajo silversmith Cecil Henry, although maker attribution has not been independently authenticated. The piece is therefore offered as “possibly Cecil Henry” rather than definitively attributed.
Estimated 1960s–1980s vintage. A substantial and highly sculptural example of traditional Navajo/Southwestern silverwork.
